Projects

Research projects that I have been involved in include:

Dragon

The Dragon project ran from february 1997 to july 1998, and besides a group of researchers from the DEVISE group involved the large shipping company Maersk Line.

In the project we worked with object-orientation and user-involvement in the design of a large customer service system, in a large, complex, unknown domain. The project was founded by CIT, and a further description of the project can be found at the project's official homepage.

Knight

The Knight project investigates new approches to CASE tools for object-oriented development. We have among other thing worked a lot on providing a more natural and direct user-interface based on gestural input. This and more is presented at the Knight homepage.

Denim & Designers' Outpost

During a stay as Visiting Researcher in the spring and summer of 2001 at UC Berkeley, I worked with James Lin, Scott Klemmer, and James Landay on two projects: DENIM and Designers' Outpost. Both systems are examples of informal interfaces. DENIM is a sketching tool for web sites, and Designers' Outport is a tangible interface for collaborative web site information design.

COT-2

The COT Case 2 project is another technology transfer project within CIT. The project works with object technology and embedded systems. I personally is mostly involved in the tool group, where we among other things work with tools supporting UML Sequence diagrams.
